AdRotate Professional 5.16.1 is a small update fixing the post-update routine and calling on the right file for dynamic groups.
In version 5.16 some security elements got improved, among that was a stronger requirement for nonces for certain maintenance tasks. This now works in version 5.16.1. The nonces are properly applied and with that you can finish the update properly.
The finish update banner has been changed to auto-apply the changes required after an update. The banner now only informs you that the update has been completed instead of requiring you to click on a button. This fixes several things like people missing the banner. Other plugins hiding said banner and people missing the update and a few more quirks and edge-cases.
Another small fix is the filename for the Javascript for dynamic groups. This didn’t take for some reason but the correct file is now loaded and dynamic groups should work reliable again.
