AdRotate Pro 5.26.1 is the last plugin to add support for GooseUp – My brand new update plugin. A few bug fixes and tweaks are included as well. Based on user feedback the ‘Force de-activate’ option for old licenses has been made more available. This should help with license management a bit. Especially for users coming from an older version of the plugin.
A few warnings for the first ‘start’ of AdRotate Pro on new installs have been fixed, this is mostly so that there are no warnings for things that do not yet exist. A common ‘issue’ of WordPress loading things in weird ways sometimes.

GooseUp takes over for updates
Over the last few weeks I’ve been working on an all new, or improved rather, update system for all my plugins. After much deliberation I have decided to re-make the update system from AdRotate Pro to be compatible with every plugin I make. You may have seen updates for most of my WooCommerce plugins get released already.
GooseUp is meant to provide more reliable updates for my plugins that are not on the WordPress website. But it supports them all. If you want to decouple from wordpress.org, GooseUp is for you. More relevant for AdRotate Pro though, since that always had an update routine built-in, GooseUp is an extra plugin dedicated to providing reliable updates – Convenient and easy. I have also figured out Auto-Updates along the way, so all of my plugins now also support WordPress’ Auto-Update feature.

The bug fixes in this and recent updates are made possible thanks to good feedback and information provided by you, the users! If you see something isn’t right with the plugin, even stupid things like typos. Please report them. AdRotate Pro users can use the ticket system for that. You can do so straight from your dashboard, but you can also use the contact form on my website if you prefer.
Without your reports, suggestions or insights I can’t improve the plugin. So please send in your suggestions and report issues, bugs and quirks as soon as possible. Providing some insights on why software doesn’t work for you is very important for developers to improve their products.
