AdRotate Pro 5.4.1 & 5.4.2 – CSS Output fixed

A maintenance update fixing a few quirks on the dashboard. And for your convenience a few more error checks for adverts have been added. If something goes wrong with creating or updating adverts. AdRotate Pro can now tell you about it even better.
Someone noticed a missing semi-colon in the CSS output, causing some weird behaviour on some themes. This has been fixed as well.

Licensing changes

Starting this month the next step in getting rid of the expired licenses starting with 101 (all licenses sold before January 2015) was initiated. You may have received a reminder already via email. In this email you’re reminded that your license has expired and a new license key is required going forward.

Most licenses starting with 102 will be notified about the expiry of their license later this year. I’m sending out reminders in batches over the next few months. If you already have a new license you can of-course ignore the reminder. But take a look at the purchase date in the email to make sure it’s not your current license that’s expiring.

Without exception all licenses from before January 2015 are expired. In the reminder email you are offered a renewal discount.
If you have questions or concerns about your license, comment below or send me an email 🙂

Updates are important

Plugin updates are important for your websites security. AdRotate Pro has a pretty good track record in providing a safe experience. With security issues, all 2 of them in the last 5 years, resolved within days. And even those were pretty minor.

Updates are also important to get new and improved features. I’m very careful with adding new features to the plugin. But overhauling or tweaking features to make them better happens all the time.
It is therefor a good idea to update the plugin at-least a few times per year.
