AdRotate Professional is now available and includes a bunch of improvements to stats and improved compatibility with WordPress 6 along with a few tweaks and other improvements. Most importantly is a better overview of group stats, and a new dashboard for advertiser stats.
AdRotate Pro added statistics and all kinds of basic numbers and graphs years ago. Since then not much has changed. On and off I’m working on adding location based stats but this turns out to be quite complex for websites that do not actively use Geo Targeting already. So that’s on hold still.
Not to mention the performance loss of having to make more external requests and store more data in the database.
Once I figure that out or have a new idea I’ll try again.
More current though is the addition of a new overview in the Group stats. You can now see the group stats as before, but added is a list overview of individual adverts. I was looking at the various dashboards while figuring out how to add advertiser stats and thought “DUH Why isn’t that added yet?!?!” So that’s a feature now.
Next to that, due to popular demand, advertisers now have their own stats overview. A publisher can now click “stats” behind the advertisre name and see all the advert stats for that advertiser – In a very familiar format already used for group stats for example. Easy to use, handy to have.
AdRotate Pro recently got support for blocks. Are you using them yet? What do you think? Let me know in the comments below or on the forum!
As you’ll find, AdRotate Pro has 2 blocks, one for groups and one for single adverts that you can use in posts and pages as well as widget replacements.
In the block editor simply look for ‘AdRotate’, ‘Banner’ or some other relevant keywords and you’ll find the blocks easily.
If you find any quirks with the blocks let me know in the comments below or through your contact form in your dashboard. Thanks!
Of-course AdRotate Pro with blocks is still compatible with ClassicPress as well.
