Phasing out legacy licenses

With the next update for AdRotate Pro I’ll be phasing out all legacy licenses. This means that if you want to continue to use AdRotate Pro after that and receive updates, premium support and access to AdRotate Geo you’re going to need a new license key.

Who will be affected

Without exception, all licenses starting with 101, those sold before January 2015, will no longer receive updates and support. And, later on, will be excluded from AdRotate Geo as well.

If you wish to continue to receive updates, support and have access to AdRotate Geo you need a new license after the next update of AdRotate Pro.

Long overdue

The first of these licenses was sold way way back in 2012. The last one was sold in December 2014. In January-February of 2015 the current series was introduced.

The older licenses are imported from my old (and now defunct) adrotateplugin.com website. Which hasn’t been online for years. The original idea was to introduce a new series of licenses every year or so. But that didn’t happen. Plans changed and I kept postponing any phasing out of any license.
The 101 licenses are well overdue for renewals. It’s time to make room for more modern systems and APIs. Time to move on.

What’s next

In the next update, which will be ready in a few weeks, users of these licenses will no longer receive updates for versions after that. You will be offered a upgrade path with a fair renewal fee. This will get you a new modern license in the new system.
This new license will give you access to updates, support and AdRotate Geo.
