    Hi,
    we are using adrotate pro duo.
    Now we have seen an issue with last updates (versioning):

    • on website one adrotate pro shows version 4.10.1
    • on website two adrotate pro shows version 4.7.2 – but astonishingly there is no comment (advice) to update this version.

    I have tried to update Adrotate Pro by clicking on “Run updater” (Service) – but unfortunately without success.

    On both websites working with wordpress 4.8.3 and using similar plugins.

    Our questions:
    1. Do you have an explanation for that behavior ?
    2. Shall we download the plugin adrotate pro and upload the files per FTP ?
    3. We don’t see the activated licence for the second website with the issue on
    https://ajdg.solutions/my-account/manage-license/ – may that be the reason for that issue ?

    I just updated adrotate pro per FTP, it seems to work fine.
    But answers to my questions would be very interesting for me.

    1. No, some websites don’t detect updates – Usually it’s a firewall or security policy somewhere. You can update manually if that seems to be the case.

    2. Yes. Check these steps for the right upgrade method: https://ajdg.solutions/manuals/adrotate-manuals/upgrade-adrotate-pro-to-a-newer-version/

    3. Maybe the 2nd site isn’t activated (Check in Settings > License, on your site), which would also explain why you don’t see updates there 🙂

    Hmm, odd. But sometimes the updates just won’t show up.
    As I mentioned before, usually because of a firewall or security setting or something.

    Not much I can do about that 🙁

    Hi Arnan,
    thanks for answer.

    Is it not possible (for me or for you), to write the licence in the list (Manage License), see here (https://ajdg.solutions/my-account/manage-license/)?
    I don’t think the reason is a firewall or something, because I use equal plugins on the other website and updates were detected up to the version 4.7.2 on the website with the issue.

    On that page only active sites are listed. So if your site is not there, it’s not activated as far as my server knows.

    Let’s continue this via email, send the license key there. I can do a reset for that domain so you can re-register and see if that improves things – https://ajdg.solutions/contact/

    That’ll probably sort things out then 🙂
