Hello Arnan,
if you would be so kind and look at the right sidebar on https://www.domzalske-novice.si/ where we’re rotating ads through your AdRotate plugin. Transition between ads is “jumpy” (it seems to settle after a while) – is there a way to fix this and make it smooth? We’d probably be up for upgrading to Pro version of a plugin if you could/would help us in this matter.
Thank you and best regards,
Robert
Usually that happens when the adverts in the group are not the same size.
The advert ‘box’ then keeps resizing.
Hello Arnan, thanks for the quick response.
We’ve double checked and we’re pretty sure all ads in each group are the same size. The thing is, this “jumping” of ads in the sidebar settles down after a while (half a minute or so after each refresh) which probably implies the problem is somewhere else?
Best regards,
Robert
I don’t see adverts in the sidebar, where do I look?
They’ve been there all this time (4 ad positions in between widgets), not sure why you don’t see them… adblocker?:) Not sure how to share screenshots here either. :/
I don’t use adblocker on users sites 😉 Thought of that.
I see your header advert.
Where in the sidebar are they supposed to show up?
Here on the forum is no option for images, but if you have dropbox or google drive or something you can stick the image in there and share the public link here.
Simply delete the files after a month or so, or when we’re/you’re done with them.
Thank you for your patience, Arnan!
I’m super confused why you don’t see ads/sidebar, though? :/
Here’s a Dropbox link to three screenshots:

I’ve just visited your site again and now there are a bunch of ads.
The only ‘weird’ thing I can see on them is that they’re loaded through lazyload.
Perhaps that affects the loading time, causing an empty spot to appear briefly which in turn causes the content to move.
Try excluding the images from lazyload to see if that improves things.
Otherwise all looks good as far as I can tell.
We turned off lazyload in the theme options but the “jumping” persists, unfortunatelly – it’s not the transition between each add in a group that’s the problem; the groups (and widgets along them) itself are changing places for a while, “jumping” up and down, until it all settles down.
We’d be super glad to buy a PRO version of your otherwise awesome plugin if you could help us magically fix this annoyance… 🙂
If I remove the lazyload classes in the browser inspector it works fine.
If you inspect an advert image you’ll see it still has the lazyload class.
So whatever you disabled it didn’t de-activate lazyload.
Anyway, excluding the images will work then. No magic needed 😉
