I’m on v5.4.1 of the plugin and seem to have the same problem as for CodyW had for a previous version:

    https://opendagbezoeken.nl/wp-admin/admin.php?page=adrotate-ads&view=addnew
    gives:
“There was an error loading the page. Please try again by reloading the page via the menu on the left.
If the issue persists please seek help at ajdg.solutions/forums/forum/adrotate-for-wordpress/”

Tried turning off/on and reinstalling the plugin.

    WP version: 5.2.2
    Multisite: no
    PHP Version: 7.2.21
    Plugin version: 5.4.1

Thank you for providing this plugin!

    That’s usually a database error.
If you’ve updated recently, make sure the database is updated. You can check that in Settings > Maintenance, near the bottom, by looking at the version numbers there.

    Thanks, Arnan.

    On https://opendagbezoeken.nl/wp-admin/admin.php?page=adrotate-settings&tab=maintenance it says:

    AdRotate version
    Current: 393
    Previous: 376

    Database version
    Current: 65
    Previous: 64

I tried the actions Optimize Database, Clean-up Database, Reset background tasks and Run updater.

    But both
    https://opendagbezoeken.nl/wp-admin/admin.php?page=adrotate-ads&view=generator
    https://opendagbezoeken.nl/wp-admin/admin.php?page=adrotate-ads&view=addnew
still show “There was an error loading the page. Please try again by reloading the page via the menu on the left.” in red.

Any suggestions as to what I should try next?

That looks fine. AdRotate probably isn’t ware of any issue then and thinks the database is fine.
Please check the servers error_log file for any errors mentioning AdRotate.
    Anything is interesting.

You can find the log usually in your hosting dashboard somewhere.

Moved to Installation and Setup, not a bug.
