    Hi there,

    I’ve switched the stats to use “Google Global Tag” and understand that I should be able to see the banner stats in Google Analytics.

    Per the instructional article, I should be able to see the stats in the following places, however I don’t.

    You can see your gathered statistics in 2 places in Google Analytics.

    Realtime -> Events -> Banner
    Behavior -> Events -> Banner

    Is there something I’m missing?

    Thanks so much,

    Amanda

    Realtime should show up immediately, the regular stats can be delayed one day because of how Google processes data.

    If nothing shows up anywhere usually you don’t have the right tracker on your site, the Google code.
    You can check for tracking errors in your browsers inspector. Look for javascript errors mentioning something like ga or google.

    Hi there,

    I’m getting regular analytics tracking data, just not anything for the AdRotate banners.

    I’m also not seeing any javascript errors for Google.

    The tracking code that’s in place now is the Google Analytics tracking.

    Sorry for the late reply – Notifications seem screwed up again…

    Which tracker do you use? Googles Global tracker? Universal or Tag Manager?
    Did you select the right tracker in Settings > Statistics?

    I think I had selected the right tracker? I selected Google Global Tag.

    The tracker I’m using is the “Global Site Tag” through their Google Analytics.

    Is that not correct?

    Right, that should be fine 😉

    If there are no javascript errors I’m not sure why it doesn’t work then.
    Yesterday I did some tests for the next version including tracking via the google stuff and that worked on my account.

    You can see if there are javascript errors in your browsers inspector, some halt the execution of other scripts. Others simply cause issues where scripts do weird things.
