Home Forums AdRotate for WordPress General Support Refresh, ad image not changed.

  • #135023

    When FastCgi is set, it does not change when the advertising image is refreshed (F5).
    So I’m going to add this part to FastCgi.
    How can I add it?
    There is no other way than this.

    I want to ignore cache for “adrotate”. What path should I add?
    Below is WordPress Fastcgi option.

    # Create a variable to skip the cache
    set $skip_cache 0;

    # POST requests and urls with a query string should always go to PHP
    if ($request_method = POST) {
    set $skip_cache 1;

    # Don’t cache when there is a query string (e.g. ?search=query)
    if ($query_string != “”) {
    set $skip_cache 1;

    # Don’t cache uris containing the following segments
    if ($request_uri ~* “/wp-admin/|/xmlrpc.php|wp-.*.php|^/feed/*|/tag/.*/feed/*|index.php|/.*sitemap.*\.(xml|xsl)”) {
    set $skip_cache 1;

    # Don’t use the cache for logged in users or recent commenters
    if ($http_cookie ~* “comment_author|wordpress_[a-f0-9]+|wp-postpass|wordpress_no_cache|wordpress_logged_in”) {
    set $skip_cache 1;

    No idea, as far as I know FastCGI works fine with AdRotate.
    One of my servers uses it and advert rotation works fine on it.

    Usually if adverts do not rotate there is some kind of cache plugin in the way.

    AdRotate has support for Borlabs Cache and W3 Total Cache.
    Check out this manual to see how to set up the plugins for that to work;
    Personally I prefer Borlabs cache ( as it’s much easier to set up.

    The wp-rocket(Paid) is in use.
    The banner works normally without the use of fastcgi.

    I can’t change the cash program because I’m using it for a fee.

    It does not work when fastcgi is enabled.
    Any file or path, any way not recommended.
    Do I have to designate it?

    WP Rocket does not offer a useful compatibility layer so that’s probably why the adverts do not rotate. You’ll need some form of fragmented caching for dynamic content to work.
    That has nothing to do with fastcgi though.

    As I mentioned, AdRotate has support for Borlabs Cache and W3 Total Cache. Other plugins may work but are untested/unsupported.
