We all need all kinds of services and tools to run websites. I use a bunch of the below products and services regularly and I can recommend them to you knowing they’re great. Website Security
SSL Certificates are very useful to show your visitors you mean business. With a SSL certificate you provide basic security for your website. Not so much against hacking or other nefarious activities, but for the connections from your visitors browser to your server to secure payments and form submissions.
All my websites are protected by a SSL certificate provided via Namecheap. They’re cheap and get the job done for most sites.
For my purposes the simple DV (or Domain Verification) certificates are great. But for some websites you may want to get a more advanced certificate. Namecheap has a wide range of SSL certificates available – And most are quite reasonably priced.
Fast Webhosting
I’ve been using these hosting providers for many years now and I have no complaints so far.
I host this website on a Virtual Private Server (VPS) from Inmotion Hosting. Compared to other VPS hosting I’ve used in the past, their VPS packages are well above the norm I think. If you’re in the market for an affordable VPS and you like the speed and responsiveness of my website you should definitely consider Inmotion Hosting.
If a VPS is a bit much but you still want a fast website. Take a look at the Inmotion Hosting shared hosting packages. They’re quite affordable and are housed on reliable and fast servers in the USA.
Domain names
I have a bunch of my domain names registered via Namecheap.com. For most domain extensions they’re very affordable. The dashboard and admin panel for managing domains is quite good and they have a lot of Top Level Domains (TLDs) available for sale. So it’s easy to manage most, if not all, of your domains in one account. Which I think is very convenient.
