Updated the dashboard and made a few tweaks in the background so the plugin works better. Fixed a weird bug on PHP5.6 servers. If you run into other PHP warnings or errors, let me know as soon as possible so a fix can be investigated and applied.
Telegram proved to be useless as a chat/social media option so that has been removed. If you want to chat, use Facebook instead. That’s the fastest option for premium support or a quick question. Though this is aimed more to users of AdRotate Professional.Read more »

Yes, Both AdRotate Pro and AdRotate Free are compatible with GDPR.
Just make sure you inform your audience what you’re doing and what’s going to happen when they access your website.
What GDPR is all about
GDPR stands for General Data Protection Regulation. Which is forced onto the world by the lovely governance of the European Union.
These regulations have been years in the making and started years ago with the dreaded and Cookie Regulations. Now they’ve taken it a few steps further to include any data that may be personally identifiable in a similar scheme.
In short, GDPR is yet another useless attempt to control data and seemingly protect the user.Read more »
A quick patch for passing group IDs to the adrotate_group function.
This no longer accepts arrays as intended, refer to the manual for the correct way of using PHP snippets.

A small update improving category filtering in Post Injection. Some child categories would get the adverts from their parents, too. Which used to be intended. But things have changed a bit in user preference.
To comply better with GDPR the impression trackers are no longer stored in cookies, but have been moved to Session data.Read more »
These cookies were to track impressions in dynamic groups. A few users mentioned there were too many cookies. And then GDPR came around, I realised it’s faster and easier to store them in Session data than to build in a button to allow extra cookies nobody wants anyway.
Advertiser management has had some small improvements and bug fixes. As well as some changes to accommodate the new GDPR nonsense.
A number of improvements to AdRotate Geo Targeting. FreegeoIP closed down again and is now ran by Ipstack. They have free and paid accounts. Check out their offerings if you want to continue to use FreegeoIP.
The FreegeoIP implementation is largely the same, but includes a few bugfixes and is renamed to Ipstack. Ipstack has free limited accounts. You’ll need an account to get a free License key to continue using their stuff.Read more »
Post Injection is a difficult feature for some reason. Fixing it will take some time. So in the meantime we’re rolling Post Injection back to what it was in version 4.12. It’s not perfect, but at-least it worked a little bit.
Some widgets had issues with a stray network variable, which has been resolved and shortcodes did something dumb with W3 Total Cache – Not sure how that happened, but it did. Now it’s fixed.
Some users of older licenses (starting with 101) had trouble activating or de-activating their license some times. This has been resolved too.Read more »
A quick update introducing an all new datepicker that actually works. Or as far as I can see. Date formats are now correct in all browsers, too.
For expired licenses (All licenses starting with 101) the force deactivate option now works, too. This of-course applies to everyone who wants to renew their license and has to swap it out at some point.
Don’t forget to renew your license, if you take a look at your Dashboard > Settings > License, you’ll be offered a renewal fee at a discount.Read more »
I’ve finally added Jetpack Photon support. This update also includes a number of small improvements to the dashboard and improves the Borlabs Caching integration.
Datepickers have been added for scheduling which should make that a more intuitive action.
Lastly, and ongoing, is the improved compatibility with PHP7.2. If you find more quirks with PHP7+ let me know ASAP.

It’s been a while, I’ve been travelling and a lot has happened and changed in my life over the last 2 months. But I’ve rented a house for a while and hope to work not reliably on AdRotate Pro for a while again.
Focus a bit more on features and general improvements.
This release has been in the making for a few weeks and includes a number of fixes and improvements. I finally found a way to use proper date pickers with Unix timestamps. Which took some trial and error in how to split up the dates and such.Read more »
